Not sure if this should go here or in the College Football thread.

You have the #1 pick, Clowney or Bridgewater.

I think Bridgewater is good but Clowney is one of those once in a decade type players IMO. He's close to a lock to be a beast for the next 10+ years. It's hard to pass on the potential franchise QB, but Clowney is just a monster.
 
Clowney and it's not close. A Big East quarterback isn't something you take very high because Louisville plays nobody.

So yeah not much has come in the QB way out of the Big East. Only QB off the top of my head to come from the Big East (though who knows with Geno Smith, yes I know WVU was Big 12 last year, but they were Big East most of Smith's career) were Marc Bulger and Donovan McNabb.

That said if you look at the break down there is no key to a great QB as far as what conference he plays in. I dont' think anyone would say that Flacco, Romo, Kaepernick, and Rapelisberger are bums because they didn't face great talents in college.
