Raiders LT Veldheer torn triceps, possibly out for the year.

****, they are getting Clowney, smh.

Why am I not surprised?

It really depends on Miles to stay healthy.

I like the rookie they got from Baylor.

Even still, Boldin, Crabtree, Manningham and VD is up there.

Up where? Boldin is old a shell of his former self. Crabtree finally showed a glimpse of his potential, but he's hurt now. And Manningham is no better than any other 3rd WR on any random team. He made a good pay day out of 1 really good catch in the postseason.

Lulz shows how little you know about football. Manningham isn't a 1 that's for sure, but he's one of the best possession WRs in the NFL. If the Falcons didn't have Tony, I'd love a guy like Manningham for your short conversion downs.

I agree with Zito. I was really upset when MM went down last year. Before Crab was Kaep's #1 target he and MM were developing quite the connection. Guy just knows how to get open. I hope he is back strong this year.

Manningham is a lot like Brian Finneran. He's not a guy you want to be your number 1. But he gets open enough and he rarely drops passes. Manningham is regularly one of the leaders in catching balls per target. Even last year he was better than Best Hands Since Rice. And considering that for most of his career he had Eli's chuck and pray throws as part of what he was expected to catch, I'd consider that impressive.

Maybe not top 5, but right on the next tier.

Watch the playoffs, Boldin was unstoppable and is 32, hardly done. And I was talking as a number 3, MM is a really good third receiver.

Sounds like the Niners may cut AJ Jenkins.

I still don't know if they will.

One full year, then cut.

He has been disappointing but still too early to cut. Maybe he just needs a change in scenery.

I doubt they will cut him. He will probably be buried on the depth chart behind guys like Marlon Moore and Austin Collie. At least Rashaun Woods made a couple catches and scored a touchdown. The 49ers have been real bad at receiver the past few years. It's always been a huge question mark.

I really like what I've seen of the Bears rookie MLB Jon Bostic - replacing Urlacher's leadership will be difficult, but Bostic looks like he could take Urlacher's spot in terms of ability on the field
