I think the Falcons are going to be really good this year.

So far the defense does appear to have taken a step forward. I like our LB group a LOT, and the DL should be faster and more talented than we have had in a LONG LONG time. Maybe since the Patrick Kearney & Chuck Smith days.
 
I think the NFC South will be much improved overall, so I don't think the Falcons will steamroll like they did last year. I still see 10 wins for them though.
 
PRediction for me is for the first time in 25 years we'll have a Super bowl rematch. I think the Falcons take it this time, but I am a homer.
 
I don't think the Pat's make it back. Personally, I don't think they would have made it anyways if Carr didn't get hurt. The Pat's had to play the Texans and Steelers in order to make it to the SB. Not exactly a gauntlet, though they obviously shutdown a great Pitt offense.

I think the Raiders are primed for a SB run this year.
 
Stafford reportedly to become the highest paid player in NFL history. For someone who has rarely been even a top 10 QB in the league, he sure has made an ass load of money.
 
I really doubt that. But I think he will be at least an average NFL QB. Trubitski looks like the real deal, imo.

They have certainly got the talent for it.

I think the D front 7 can finally match the secondary in terms of talent and depth. Takk looks pretty good out there so far.

Lions fans love him. He gets lost out there quite a bit but he is a helluva an athlete

PFF rated him as 8th best QB last year.

Obviously, he's not the best QB in the league, but hitting FA at the right time. Whoever is next will surpass this deal

I personally thought last year he was impressive. He proved he could do more than chuck it up to Megatron. I think Stafford is on his way to becoming a good QB but he will never move up higher than around 6 or 7 without improving his mid-passing. And it's a common flaw of the power arm QBs.They're so used to throwing bombs to impress scouts that they never had to learn to throw the perfectly timed 10 yard out.
 
I don't think he's a bad QB in any way. It just amazes me at how much money he's already made in his career for the sort of QB he is.
