That was the Super Bowl for the Seahawks. That was their biggest game in at home in their pathetic franchise. They were up to the challenge and dominated us. We still made the Super Bowl last season getting pissed on in Seattle.

I think you're thinking of 2005

And Seattle has won bigger games at home.

I thought we were gonig to lose I just hated the way we did it. The throwing conditions were horrible as evidenced by Wilson having a crappy agme as well but Kaep was just horrid last night.

Problem is that the 49ers don't have much outside of Boldin and Davis. The offensive line has not been as dominant this year.

Closet Seahawks fan are we? The Seahawks got up for this game. This was their biggest game in years to include last season in the playoffs. Not an excuse for getting beaten like that, but Seattle was amped up for this game.

Seattle won that game because they were the better team on the field. Had nothing to do with that game being the biggest for them. Because it isn't. They're not a bad team who is fighting for the playoffs. For teams like Seattle, San Fran, Atlanta, Green Bay, and Denver the regular season is largely a formality. If they don't make the post season it will be crushing, but no one regular season game is a deal breaker for them.

They broke the guiness book of world records for decibal levels. I think it was more than just Seattle playing better. If the offense can't communicate with each other it makes it tough. Thats why Seattle was basically untouchable at home last year. If they beat SF in SF later in the year then I would agree.

What sucks is that not only did we get our asses beat, but half of our players got hurt in the process as well.

Playing in SF isn't that much of an advantage since the fans at the Stick are idiots and get loud when the Niners are on offense.

Seattle has a homefield advantage that's for sure. I was contesting the point that this was the superbowl for the Seahawks. When it really isn't. If they beat SF in SF then they're the best team in the NFC. Or stupendously lucky. Which **** that won the Giants and Ravens a superbowl so I'm sure teams would love being stupendously lucky.

It was on prime time, at home vs a division rival.

Biggest game in franchise history, don't be stupid.

What were they supposed to do, let SF win, or not try at all.

They did what they do.

Run the ball, make enough plays in the passing game, and did their thing on defense.

Biggest game in franchise history? Are you a ****in moron? Playoff games are way bigger games.

Sean Weatherspoon out until Week 11, was put on designated to return tag.

Kroy Bierman out for the season as well.

One playoff loss for Peyton in Denver = they will choke every year?

Ok.

What happened to Kaep though? I thought he was untouchable. Easily the best QB in the league. No weaknesses. Can't throw? Run! Can't run? Top 5 passer!

Which proves my point, Reub, have a little patience before you start declaring all your favorite players the best in the league. They can be your favorite, but that doesn't make them the best.

Seattle is by far the toughest place to play and the conditions were horrible for throwing the ball (Wilson had bad numbers as well). I'm not going to overreact to it because Kaep has been great eveyrwhere but Seattle. Even still, he played horribly and missed some open receivers. It was a horrible game.

Conditions were horrible for throwing? If thats the case, wtf would you say about Giants stadium in December?
