REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Rams going to rest top starters in the last week preferring the 4th seed to potentially face the Wentz-less Eagles. I feel like a rubber match between the Saints and Falcons is destiny at this point.
 
Really wanted to see the Chargers get in and mess someone up. The lack of a reliable kicker early on with those heartbreaking losses killed them. Rivers is a gamer and Keenan Allen is a top 5 WR when he’s healthy.
 
Fantastic defensive effort from Atlanta today. Glad we got the Rams instead of the Saints though I'm not sure it'll matter. The amount of drops from this team is embarrassing.

It won’t matter. Falcons are trash. At least you have the Bulldogs for another 28 hours or so.

Part of me feels good about tomorrow. Other part just keeps reliving all the disappointment of Atlanta/Georgia sports from years past.

I'm fine with the Falcons being a playoff team this year. It was too much to expect them to be Super Bowl caliber again.
 
Wonder if the Raiders are going to end up with Gruden? I'd love to see the Titans go after him if they fire Mularkey.

Wow, the Browns could really be loaded next year (and not like their fans probably had to be this year). Do you think there's any chance that Kirk goes there for about $30M/Year for 7 or 8 years with about 2/3 of that guaranteed? They could then trade down from either/both the #1 and #4 picks and wind up with a windfall.

Thoughts?

That’s possible. I thought Cousins would go to San Francisco. That was before Garoppolo got traded there and you all are seeing what he can do. If Rosen (he’ll declare) and Darnold (I think he needs to stay in school another year) don’t declare, there won’t be many top quarterbacks in the draft potentially outside Mayfield.

Titans limped into the playoffs. We've been playing pretty mediocre for about 10 weeks now. If we played in basically any other division, we'd be a 7 win team. Mariota has regressed this year. I mean things could change with a deep playoff run, but I would expect Mularkey to be gone if we go 1 and out in the playoffs.
