Ryan was playing behind aside from Blalock a whole new line. His number 1 WR was Harry Douglas.

Kaepernick didn't have his weapons vs NO? That's interesting.
That is not what I was saying at all. You first say a great QB can navigate a game without weapons and yet use the lack of weapons for an excuse why Ryan didn't do well against Arizona.
Also, last weeks game was played in NO. That makes a difference.

Using this logic, Ryan played them in Arz, while that game was in SF.
We'll see how Kap does vs them though he will probably have all his weapons back by then.
MM, Crab, Q, VD, and his backs.
And that game may be for a playoff spot depending how the last few games finish out.

The difference is that game was Ryan's worst of the season, Overall Ryan is top 5 in DYAR, Kaepernick isn't. So comparing Ryan's worst to what has happened several times with Kaepernick isn't fair.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Seahawks CB Walter Thurmond will be suspended for games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Per RapSheet, Thurmond was not popped for performance-enhancing drugs like Brandon Browner and Richard Sherman last year. (They both used ADD medicine to enhance their in-game focus.) Thurmond has been Seattle's slot corner all year, and is starting with Browner shelved by a significant groin injury. Thurmond's loss is a major blow to a Seahawks defense that will now have to rely on its depth. They have Jeremy Lane and Byron Maxwell in reserve.
