Dez leaving the field before the kneel down isn't a big deal to me. He shouldn't have done it, but it's not like he was upset because he didn't get the ball enough. It wasn't a "me me me" action. It was a pissed off, upset that the team lost in the fashion they did action. I'm not exactly sure how that translates to "diva," but he gets more criticism than he deserves a lot, so I'm not surprised.

Just a couple other things:

On the last pick, while certainly Romo deserves criticism, Gil Brandt pointed out that Cole Beasley stopped the route short. So yeah, Romo threw the pick, but Beasley contributed to the mistake. So take that for what you will.

But this was the real bad thing to me: In the first half, DeMarco Murray had 11 carries for 83 yards. Despite the 26-3 lead at halftime, he only carried the ball SEVEN more times. Dallas averaged over seven yards a carry in the game, yet got away from the running game in the second half! That is pitiful coaching from Garrett and Callahan.

Based on the coverage, it's possible Beasley ran the right route and sat in the zone with the safety close to the sideline and the corner having inside leverage. Looked to me they were playing zone and typically you want to sit down in zone.

You probably like Michael Irvin and TO as well.

That's entirely possible as well. I've heard both sides of the argument and both have good cases. But, if some smarter calls were made on offense and the defense made stops, we're not having this conversation.

Dez is very different than TO personality wise. He is FAR less about "me" than TO was.
You mean HOFer and multiple SB champ Irvin, who was the leader of the Cowboys? Yeah, he's alright. Irvin didn't have the "me" personality TO did, either. Dez is closer to Irvin.

How are the special Dez rules holding up? I guess one of them wasn't stay until the game is over?

Cowboys franchise that never blew lead of more than 21 pts in first 758 games of existence has blown leads of 24 & 23 pts in last 43 games.

When scoring 35 or more points in a game this season, Dallas is 1-2. When scoring 35 or more points this season, other teams are 51-2.

So what coaches do you think get canned or quit?

I think that Rexy is in trouble. Garrett may be in trouble but Jones seems to love him. I think COughlin retires. Adn then the usual. Of the bad teams with safe coaches, my bet would be on Smith, Schiano, Tomlin as the safest.

Schwartz needs to go… Will certainly get fired if we don't win the division

Is JJ Watt the most underrated elite player in the NFL?

No one is mentioning his name like they were last year, and he's basically as great. This is the top 3 in QB hits this year

Watt - 42
Quinn - 27
Allen - 23

Aside from hitting QB more than anyone in the NFL he's also only 1 tackle behind Quinn in tackles for loss. And is the defensive end leader in tackles.

“I just saw the corner and throttled down in the hole. I don’t have the option to do that on that play,” Beasley said. “I should have kept going. I felt it. I have a good feel for holes and I felt a little hole right there but on that play I can’t really read it like that. I just have to keep going. On other plays I can do that but on that one I couldn’t. If I would have kept running, he would have hit me right in stride.”
