REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Ryan has never come close to playing on a team as talented as the niners. He never had a back like gore. Davis is better than old tony. Only advantage he has offensively is wr. Defensively it doesn't even come close. Same with special teams.

true, they'd probably never lose a super bowl ever as long as THE MATT RYAN is their QB.

Matt Ryan will always have excuses for Zito. Its never his fault they haven't won more than one playoff game.

Right. Did you see our defense vs GB? Did he play defense vs Seattle? SF? The lowest total we have held ANY offense to in the Ryan era was 24 against NYG. And they were in clock killing mode in the entire second half. GB put up 48. SF 30. Seattle 28 and we won.

I just don't think you will be saying he is dink n dunk, and your pal yeezus is off his chain talking jibberish again. Better rein him in the the.

Ryan threw a horrible pick in that GB game. Changed the complexion of the game. Sure, ATL's defense was horrid but its a bad feelign going into halftime after that horrendous play Ryan made.

Ryan is a very good QB but he doesn't walk on water. He deserves blame for postseason failures, namely that disgusting game against the Giants.

That wasn't your original point I called you on, and you are dodgin' dude. Besides, one pick doesn't put up 48 points. FORTY EIGHT! Rodgers was on freakin fire. It was like watching a mack truck coming and running you over but being powerless to stop it.

You referenced Ryan being dink n dunk. Sure, he was this year with the worst OL in the game, no running game, two Wrs injured, and an old man at TE. It was a lazy assumption. Still is. You won't say that next year. And nowhere in post history have I ever said Ryan is perfect or great or blameless. You are assuming, and you know what happens when you assume!

GB game- the pick six changed that game, we'll never know what happens if that doesnt happen.

Sea- I think Atl didnt score more than 3 if any points in the 2nd half and they probably should of lost if Sea didnt go into prevent.

SF- Clearly not good but if Ryan is as good as you and Zito say, he should of kept adding more points.

Giants- Thats on the offense for doing next to nothing.

Worst OL in football?

Nah.

You guys must be high as hell. Where have I said Ryan is so unbelievably good? read back, NOwhere.

Riddle me this though, when is the last time in an important game that the Falcons D came up with a big play to put us over the top? An Int, a FR, a FF, a stop, a sack? anything....Not many that I can recall if any.

NFCCG they got a fumble from Crabtree at the goal-line.

How did it change the complexion of the game? Only thing it changed was the battle between Ryan and Rodgers. Up to that point it was a fairly close game, 21-14. but that pick 6 made it the Packers game largely. BUT if the Atlanta defense stopped Rodgers from dropping 14 in the 3rd quarter, the Falcons could have battled back to make it a ball game.

This is how the Packers drives went.

First drive fumble, second drive TD, third drive td, fourth drive td fifth drive td, 6th drive TD, 7th drive missed field goal. 8th drive field goal, 9th drive field goal. 10th drive, kneels out the game. Falcons never stopped them aside from the fumble.

A pick 6 right before your team goes into the locker room for halftime is huge. Not sure how that can't be understood. Yes, the Falcons defense played horribly but we have no clue what would have happened had the Falcons scored 3 on that drive instead of -7.

It is demoralizing. But the way Rodgers was playing, I can't see anything changing.

Its probable that GB still wins that game but at least Atlanta would have had a shot. That pick 6 ended the game before they walked into the locker room for halftime.

Wouldn't have changed a thing, but like I said, your stance changed "to Ryan screws up too" from "he is a dink n dunk qb". Why?

You lived in that alternate universe? We have no clue what would have happened. What we do know is the game was over when Ryan threw that pick 6.

Ryan is still a short passing QB but now that he has Julio he chucks it deep more. Good for him.
