Have Mack and Barr ran their full combine yet? I'd be intrigued how they did on strength and speed. SOme people think Barr is almost as much fo a freak athlete as Clowney.
 
I think Mack has long arms and that keeps him from putting up a lot of numbers. I would think Barr is outside the top 10 looking in at this point.

Kid from Georgia Southern converted from Qb to RB a few games into his Sr Season absolutely lit up the combine. 5'9 209 put up 32 reps (not a typo), and jogged a hearty 4.41 in the 40. His other numbers were consistently in the top 2/3 at the RB spot... He is going to make someone a healthy ROI. Reminds me of a quicker Shane Vereen.

23 isn't an amazing number, but it's around what Clowney did which is good for Mack. Though I want to see all the information. But I'm liking Mack more than Barr pending how they run. Barr is bigger, but Mack with longer arms did better on the bench. That's impressive.

Barr needs to run an insane 40 or have a dominating pro-day to boost his stock back up. Mack looks like he may butt his way into the top 5 prospects, may. Certainly he's passing Barr unless Barr beats him on the 40 and the agility drills.
 
The National Football Post's Jason Cole expects the Dolphins to pursue Jim Harbaugh next offseason, "barring a Super Bowl win by the 49ers."
That should help Joe Philbin sleep at night. According to Cole, the "rumor was already out there," and "only got stronger this weekend." Cole's report runs concurrent to one from CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco, who passed along Monday that the "feeling within the organization is that Harbaugh is not going to be a 10-year coach with the 49ers." San Francisco has re-emerged as one of the league's elite franchises, but it's got a serious issue on its hands.
 
It seems pretty clear that Harbaugh is not going to stay without two things: 1) Full power on personal 2) Being the highest paid coach.

I love Harbaugh and easily think he is a top coach but the talent on the field speaks for itself. I'd rather stick with Baalke and get another coach for this team. There are going to be a bunch of great coaches looking to coach up this talent. Trade him for a bunch of draft picks and restock the team.

49ers won't have all this talent after Kap and others get paid.....49ers window for a SuperBowl is pretty much next year, after that, it's not going to be the same team and will be a lot tougher to make it to the SB.

Well, if they pick up a bunch of picks for Harbaugh then the talent is restocked. 49ers still have loads of young controllable talent that haven't even had a chance to play regularly becuase the roster is so deep. Someone like Iupati won't be resigned and they will insert Kilgore/Looney. I think Whitner is going to get less than his previous contract. Also, I'm holding out hope that Kaep doesn't pinch the 49ers for every dollar but I'll believe that when I see it.

49ers already have loads of picks in the upcoming draft as well. As long as the guys you are paying are quality then your team will always be good.
 
The bloom is off the Harbaugh rose....Someone will trade for him but the 49ers aren't getting what Oakland got for Gruden.

You can say the same with Sea too, no?
 
SF has a lot of their key guys signed for the next 2-3 years at least.

Sea has MOST of their key guys making nothing, notably Sherman/Wilson/Thomas who will/could take up 1/3 of their cap.

Guys like Anthony Davis, VD, Bowman, Willis, Staley, Boone are all signed for the next 2-3 years.

Only ones to sign are Iupati, Crab, Aldon, Kap.

Obviously will be hard to keep all 4 but they should be able to keep 3 of them.

And SF has like 500 picks and can reload every year, i think they'll have something like 6 picks in the first 3 rounds this year.

Along with Tank/Lattimore playing some next season.
