REAL FOOTBALL Thread

The rules are stupid but clear on putting your weight on top of taking the QB down. Seems pretty cut and dry to me based on the rules. In reality that should be a fine football hit.

This is a perfect tackle. I'm not saying the refs were wrong, I'm saying the rules are moronic and we might as well just put flags on Qbs.

I want to know who the offensive genius was who called a weakside naked boot against one of the best Edges in the game, with no one down in front of him. At least the TE could have been in motion or something to allow him to be in a better position for a chip.

Lions falcons who we got?

Lions missing two starting OL, starting RB, 2 starting edge defenders, both starting safeties, starting CB2

And yet the Vegas line hasn't moved a tick.

QB league

Falcons in a nail biter. I think the game is a 1 score game. But until someone shows they can stop the Falcons run game, I'll believe they can consistently put up about 20 points a game and I think the defense can be good enough to hold non-elite teams under that.

It's been pretty amazing to watch. Everyone knows what they wanna do but nobody can stop it.

I hope the lions go high octane early to try to get them in a hole to dig out of... but have a feeling we will try to out testerosterone them in the running game instead

For Carp - it’s all about Bosa and now our interior dline.

Niners are ****ing loaded and should be considered favorites for Super Bowl at this point.

My brother in christ, it's been 3 weeks and in 2 of them they played the GIants and Rams 2 teams with garbage OLs.

Do you honestly think this will play out differently over the season? Especially if Kinlaw finally realizes the potential Lynch saw when they effectively flipped bruckner for him?

Easily best niner team since 98 when falcons got lucky Hurst was injured on the first drive in the playoffs. Maybe best team since 94.

So is everyone else they could have reasonably gotten.

Problem is they've now improved to the point where they'll be good enough to have zero chance at an elite QB but be bad enough to never seriously compete. They're in a no man's land that gets coaches and GMs fired.

If I was the GM, I'd consider trading anyone with value, tank for a year or two, and then rebuild with a bunch of picks. But that ain't happening.

The Falcons have devoted three straight top 10 picks to offensive weapons and yet the offense is still pretty terrible. That's a very, very bad look for Arthur Smith. Dude isn't the genius he was billed as.

Sucks that the Falcons lost, but look on the bright side.

Saints couldn't beat the Packers.

And more importantly we didn't get murdered on live TV like the Broncos.

That's the worst loss by a supposed good team I've ever seen in my life.
