Regular Season Rants/Discussions - General Info

I know we will have other topics for specific incidents, but for casual BS'ing, I think we need a thread like this.

Let me start off and say, "Welcome to the Braves 2014 season everyone!!"

I will be working on a new YNOT, but waiting to see if I can get max participation.

I can't believe that Freddi is actually putting BJ in the 2 hole. I have no words.....

I think Fredi is trying to demonstrate some confidence in Bossman. Horrible baseball decision, on the face of it.

I understand the human element and hopefully it does jump start BJ to a solid season (which I think he will have anyway).

We just all saw, and Freddi had a front row seat, to how dynamic the top 3 of Heyward/J-Upt/Freeman was last year. Why mess with that?

Link to it?

When I can get access to this page, I will put buttons on this page so people can actually get to sites without links in posts. I wish they would hurry and let Sav have some freedom here.

Oh, I agree. I was just trying to get in Fredi's head.

The horror! The horror!

If it works, great! If not, there's plenty of games left to try something else. Heyward getting on base and Freeman behind him should give Bossman plenty of good pitches to hit.

I am going to try and have a different mindset this season. That last BJ comment in the GDT not withstanding.

Let's see how long I last.

Let's be honest about how long it takes Fredi to adapt.

Teheran pitched well enough. Johnson looked good. Justin looked like a #2 hitting #5, will take him a game or six to start really racking up the walks. Uggla had some good swings and no really bad at-bats. Bullpen did a fine job, especially Schlosser.

BJ looked bad. Freeman looked surprisingly bad. And Gattis looked absolutely dreadful.

This sums it up in a nutshell.
