Anytime Now Frankie...
How do you like me now?
Remember, I was the negative Nancy, the one worried over nothing, this team was going to be ok win 90 games, I was the moron, I was the idiot, I was the troll. Even when we were winning a lot of games on the backs of the pitching staff and Freeman, I was told shut up, this team is good and will compete.
The first week of the season I said the team looked bored, uninterested, and off like no other Braves team that I have seen recently.

"No other way to explain it. Too many incompetent hitters that are free swingers and have terrible comprehension of the strike zone. A bullpen that has been the best in baseball over the past few, has no reliable options outside of Kimbrel. Terrible defensively at key positions outside of RF and SS. The worst in game decision maker in the game in Fredi who has absolutely no clue.
The only chance you stand at even remotely winning games here and there is that the starters need to go out there and pitch 7-8 innings of shutout or 1 run baseball, and even though, besides the last week, that's what we have gotten out of our rotation, that is too much to ask for. We're asking that out of a career journeyman that is inconsistant, a group of young studs that are capable but shouldn't be put into that situation and it will wear on them, and a piece of garbage that should be released or put in the pen to be an innings eater.
This team will be out of first place in no time, and be lucky to finish fourth in the division."
I'll admit I was wrong on Harang, and pleasantly surprised at his performance this year. I'm disappointed because if we had any semblence of offense this could have been a good team with a good record, but I feel for our pitchers and I think Ervin described it all so well yesterday.
Changes are apparent, they need to be made. I've always been a big Wren supporter and believed he did a good job more often than not despite a few moves that didn't go according to plan, but if there is this much discord amonst the FO, then he needs to go. We heard back in the late 90's of similiar things happening in Baltimore when he was head man there, so it is disturbing and certainly a trend.
And I always got the feeling that Bobby was forced out by Wren, we know they collided on a few matters during their tenure together. I have no evidence but just a feeling, and as class a guy as Bobby is I did find it interesting that he did not mention Frank at all during his HOF speech. Fredi probably was brought in to be nothing more than a yes man to Wren.
But if Wren ultimately is the fall man, and it appears he will be, Fredi needs to go and hope whoever is Wren's replacement makes that move as quick as possible because although he is Bobby's man, Fredi is one of the most incompatant managers I have ever seen.
