The “you have to enter your Driver’s License/ID number” on an absentee ballot really isn’t that big of a deal to me. But I will say that I can remember that my dad almost got arrested on a fort a long time ago over going bananas about them not letting my mom on base because her driver’s license was expired (she’s disabled and doesn’t drive, did later get an ID because she needed to for bank dealings, but at that point, all she had was the expired DL).

Some might only really need an ID for a couple of things, and for some it can be hard to get one.

But anyway, that’s not why this bill sucks, and I’m not going to explain why this bill sucks because you’re going to just scream that I’m a leftist. It’s a waste of my time.

The combination of making yourself look racist by limiting polling locations in more diverse areas, along with the Evangelical conservative culture stuff, will only turn off people.

Edit: I don't watch news much outside of financial news. The theater over non-existent voter fraud took a lot out of me. This bill sucks, I don't need to hear somebody tell me that it sucks. Period, end of story.

That's not a very open minded take. I'm not sure why you don't just type your thoughts into a Word document instead of putting them on here, if you aren't willing to have a discussion about it.

That post came across like you realize you have no basis for criticizing the bill and just now realized it.

Even WAPO had to admit the bill EXPANDED voting.
