I can't even.
Prince and the Sovereign so proximally deceasing is pretty rough; they both occupied such unique, strangely adjacent, and wholly necessary spaces in the collective imagination re celebrity and rock-star and popular artist. To wit: I just saw The Man Who Fell to Earth, and—while it didn't strike me at the time—Prince is probably one of the only other souls I could imagine occupying such a blithely bizarre role.
Got to include this:

I think it's more about celebrating his life.Give me a break. Sure it's sad that the man passed away. Veterans are committing suicide at an alarming rate, but nobody seems to really care. A movie star or singer passes away and everyone is saddened. Priorities in this country have never been so twisted.

Don't be that guy.
What the guy who brings the truth?
Super sad that Prince died, but no reason to lie about things other people said. I knew it was fake because I've heard that quote attributed to many different artists.
