Ronald Acuna Jr. - 2023 NL MVP

Before this year no player had a batting average higher than .310 in a 40-40 season. A-Rod hit .310 in 1998.

Ronald demolished that by 27 points. That's almost the same amount A-Rod outhit Tony Womack in 1998.

Well deserved. The scary part is if he gets back to his 2020/2021 fly ball rate of 40%+ he’s a 10 win player.

Or when he steals 100 next season!

*ducks*

Edit: Congratulations to Ronald, of course. Well deserved. Thought it would be much closer, never expected unanimous selection.

Acuna also joined Bonds as the only people in the 40/40 with over .400 OBP (Bonds had an ungodly .461 OBP)

ANd of course is the only member of the 40/40 club to go over on one of them.

NExt up ROnnie needs to lift some more balls and go for 50/50.
