Acuna's development in cutting his strikeouts is one of the most amazing improvements I've ever seen. Ronnie is the best offensive player in baseball.

Before this year no player had a batting average higher than .310 in a 40-40 season. A-Rod hit .310 in 1998.

Ronald demolished that by 27 points. That's almost the same amount A-Rod outhit Tony Womack in 1998.

Not Plaschke per se, but I was surprised it was unanimous. Truly deserved in any case. Truly remarkable season.

Acuna also joined Bonds as the only people in the 40/40 with over .400 OBP (Bonds had an ungodly .461 OBP)
