Also.. what do they think they're going to see on a CT scan? I guess they may see some edema.. but by then it would probably be resolved. Just a weird thing. Seems more PR-related than actually based in science.
 
Rousey was very likely not going to be fighting for at least 6 months anyway. She has movie obligations and said as much. She was also wore out from 3 fights in 9 months.

At lest 45 days. They have scans before and after fights. And if they lose by TKO, they have to have CT scans before they can resume physical training.
 
Honestly, it weirds me out that people gather together, eat pizza, drink, and pay $99.99 to take enjoyment in watching two people try to cave each other's heads in. Seems like the same type of person that would have wanted a front row seat at the Colosseum for the chance to be splattered in blood.

Yeah. Boxing is brutal but it's also more technical than MMA.

Frankly I stopped watch both. Probably only time I'll watch boxing again is if Pacquiao fights, because my parents will watch it since he's a Filipino god.

I prefer a BJJ match to a KO anyday. The thing that makes MMA interesting is the mingling of several different disciplines and seeing how it shakes out. The most interesting fights to me are the ones that are grappler vs. kickboxer, etc. Its not like you are ever worried for a guys safety in an MMA fight.

Ronda assured herself another motivated HH by hosting SNL. Good for her for increasing her options but her fighting career is gonna take a hit, pun intended. Is she hoping to become an action movie star?
