RUN!

This is blown way out of proportion. That would have happened to a ton of baseball players had they been in the position of Swisher.
 
What did he gain by standing there? Like the announcer said if he runs the ball is kicked foul.

When you hit the ball you run, no excuse for just standing there.
 
Dumb play on his behalf.

I thought this was gonna complain about the Braves inability to run the bases. We have one player with a baserunning runs over 1, Justin Upton. Pathetic.
 
Its not like he was intentionally lazy. He started to run and saw that the ball was foul and heading away from the line. Easy to assume the ball would stay foul and he turned his back.
 
Smart move by the catcher (and if the infielders were telling him he wasn't running) to let that ball go fair. Swisher looks looked like a giant ass on that play.
 
One thing I like a lot about Uggla. He approach frustrates the hell out of me, but you hardly see him do stuff like that and he is always hustling.
 
My brother jates that about cano. That he never runs hard out of the box and he qcts like every fly ball is a hr.

Jeter is my second favorite player because he always hustles....and he gets mad pussy too lol.
