Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

Flynn was a decorated general so I would hope nobody would have issues with someone like that being in a position of power within our government.

I think we're past the point of Flynn's military service being his defining characteristic.

Thats a bunch of horse****. He served his country for a long time and that will always be his defining characteristic.

Good hire, then?

Considering I don't believe Russia is the big boogeyman that the left makes him out to be (China is a far more serious threat to the USA) I believe it was a good hire. The only reason it was a bad hire in hindsight is because of the partisan witch hunt that is about to get its door blown open for the true abuses that took place. Just remember - These are all conspiracy theories!!!

How do you feel about his gig with Turkey?

Unfortunately, history will remember him for "Lock her up!" and then lying to the FBI about inappropriate meetings with the Russians.

Not something that helps his legacy but that shouldn't ultimately wipe all of service out that he gave to this country? Stop it.

He had already done a lot of damage to his legacy himself when he was forced into early retirement because of his poor management style:

from wikipedia

Forced Early Retirement, aka "Being Fired", from the military

On April 30, 2014, Flynn announced his retirement effective later that year, about a year earlier than he had been scheduled to leave his position. He was reportedly effectively forced out of the DIA after clashing with superiors over his allegedly chaotic management style and vision for the agency. In a private e-mail that was leaked online, Colin Powell said that he had heard in the DIA (apparently from later DIA director Vincent R. Stewart) that Flynn was fired because he was "abusive with staff, didn't listen, worked against policy, bad management, etc." Flynn exhibited a loose relationship with facts, leading his subordinates to refer to Flynn's repeated dubious assertions as "Flynn facts".

The most tame part of the Turkey saga is that he got paid $500K to advocate for Turkish interests, and failed to disclose it, while he was working on the campaign. He also allegedly had discussions about a $15M payment to arrange the kidnaping of Mr. Gulen. You can decide for yourself how this (and getting canned a month into his tenure) affects his legacy, but my point was this was known to the Trump folks, who made him NSA anyway.

To me, that speaks of the broader issues of judgment in the Trump camp, but I'd think an impartial observer would at least say it was a really bad, imprudent hire.

Deutsche Bank to release Trump and Kushner documents.

he bank discovered the troubling Kushner company transactions after an internal audit ordered by board President Paul Achleitner, according to the German publication, Manager Magazin, in an article first reported and translated by Mother Jones magazine.

“Achleitner’s internal detectives were embarrassed to deliver their interim report regarding real estate tycoon [Jared] Kushner to the [German] financial regulator BaFin,” stated the article, according to Mother Jones. “Their finding: There are indications that Donald Trump’s son-in-law or persons or companies close to him could have channeled suspicious monies through Deutsche Bank as part of their business dealings.”

I'm sure it will reveal them to be honest and upright, abiding by the letter of the law. bwahahaha

I don't believe anyone has ever characterized Trumps business career as honest and upright. Maybe you can find those posts for me.

His policies (Conservative) are working and its killing the left. Anything you can do to discredit him because whats really happening right now is socialism is being discredited.

Well at least you admit honesty and integrity are not important.

There is a job to get done. Fix the struggling econcomy (so far big passing grade) / Defeat international Islamic terrorism (Very happy with the results so far) / Fix immigration (love that Trump and R's are sticking to their guns of curbing lottery/chain migration).

Its all about results and not process when it comes to a job of this importance. Everyone loved the smooth/suave way that Obama handled the presidency but his results were catastrophic. I'll take Trump and his seedy business past all day every day when its comes to the future of America.

Even though he has clearly demonstrated a pattern of putting his own business and self-interests first. He will sell out the country and that will be catastrophic.

I think you are mistaken. Obama sold out the country. Trump is bringing back wealth/prosperity/security. Damn that villain!!!!
