It's very clear what happened here. FBI used a false pretext to get communications while Page was on the Trump campaign. You know that. I know that and most importantly Barr/Durham know that.

Ah, okay; so your theory is that Page actually only had any Russian contacts because he was working for the CIA.

That seems very unlikely to me (though I guess possible); I noticed you didn't actually answer the question about the evidence of this, but just asserted it "is a known fact."

Amusing that anyone can think the IG report did anything but validate the 'conspiracy theories'.

Now with word of the former president of Ukraines offices being raided and crimes to be revealed we are going to see yet another layer of the prior administrations corruption.

Lots of money just went unaccounted for in the Ukraine.

Evidence of it is a known fact. It is factual that Page was used as a CIA asset. It is factual agencies share information pist 9/11.

What you are effectively proposing is a scenario whereby the intelligence agencies can spy on US citizens as a result of using them for intelligence operations. In what world does that make sense?
 
The Horowitz report was perfect despite being an illegal witch hunt affording no due process. Totally 100% exonerated the FBI. Maybe thethe can direct me to the part of Horowitz's big beautiful report where it says anyone comitted a crime. Unlike IMPOTUS none of these people have immunity from prosecution.

No I'm proposing that a person can have their own personal interests in a country, unrelated to US intelligence, and that might be a reason an intelligence agency to try and get information from them at some point.

my favorite thing is how for pages in this thread and for 3 years we have been told intelligence community can't be trusted and is part of the deep state and full of liars etc

they are now saying the total opposite and that they had intel on Suleimani and must be trusted

I'll bet $5 that Durham's report is already finished and that Trump is waiting to use it at an opportune time in the headlines (when senate impeachment ramps up, etc) as a distraction.

The dramatic revocation of the Justice Department’s request for leniency came weeks after Flynn’s sentencing judge on Dec. 16 categorically rejected Flynn’s claims of prosecutorial misconduct and that he had been duped into pleading guilty to lying to FBI agents about his Russian contacts after the 2016 U.S. election.

“It is within the government’s sole discretion to determine whether the defendant has ‘substantially assisted’ the government,” prosecutor Brandon Van Grack wrote in a 33-page court filing. “In light of the complete record, including actions subsequent to December 18, 2018, that negate the benefits of much of the defendant’s earlier cooperation, the government no longer deems the defendant’s assistance ‘substantial.’”

Flynn faces sentencing Jan. 28 before U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan in Washington, D.C. Flynn defense attorney Sidney Powell is scheduled to file his sentencing request on Jan. 22.

My guess is they hold it off till after the election so Trump can keep claiming the Durham report will be explosive. Durham kind of tipped his hand by responding to the Horowitz report that he is a Trump cultist so unless criminal charges come from his report I am already ready to dismiss it.
