Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

Your opinion is completely detached from reality. You clearly dont know jack**** about law enforcement misconduct if you think Clinesmith's **** would get jail time. Personally, I think it should, it should get that person years in prison, but the reason it didnt is because there was no damage done to Carter Paige as a result of what he did. Thats how little your rights are worth. I dont think it should work that way but it does. I support changing that. Maybe you should be asking why no Republicans support making prison mandatory for doing what Clinesmith did.

I know exactly what I'm talking about. No damage done is why he didn't get jail time? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

He committed intentional fraud against the FISA court.

Look what happened to Bill Clinton for lying about a BJ and this is much more serious.

You've got be trolling because this is stupid, even for you.

Carter had already had a FISA warrant that was renewed 2 times before Clinesmith. If he didnt forge the email Paige would have been surveilled for 90 days instead of 120 days. I dont recall the exact amount of days just using 90 and 120 as an example. It was a violation of Paiges rights but the court sees that as a minor thing. Now if Paige had been arrested and spent time in jail as a result of what Clinesmith did then there would have been damages caused by the crime. I dont think it should work that way but it does. When a cop lies to arrest someone a person who doesnt act a fool gets a a fraction of what the person who resisted the unlawful arrest and gets their ass beat. So I am not defending it, just explaining the reality of the justice system. I am begging Republicans to support mandatory minimum prison sentences for what Clinesmith did. But they won't because it woild be used against cops who lie and that would be anti-cop.

If I recall correctly Clinton got a 500k fine and his law license suspended that he was never going to use again anyways. How is that a significant punishment.

Its almost as if you don't push a tyrant into a corner they behave better.....

Russian ability to wage war has been significantly decreased and his grip on power had been weakened and we didnt lose a single active duty US soldier. That's a huge win for us imo.

Lol.

"The document was altered to show that Page was "not a source" for the CIA, even though the original message from the CIA indicated otherwise. The CIA had earlier told investigators in a memo that Page was an "operational contact" for the agency from 2008 to 2013 and provided information about his contacts with Russian intelligence officers."

This was serious. Care to try again?

Clinton was suspended for 5 years in AR and disbarred from coming before the SCOTUS just for lying about a BJ. Clinesmith is back practicing law.

2 - Eh? Who cares about all the Ukrainian/Russian men and women who have died?

The laptop is so uneventful the fbi needs to become Pfizer and request a blockage for decades.

Keep thinking Russia hacked the dnc lecturer with no proof whatsoever.

So much for Sussman being a neutral party. I was not aware this came out during the trial.

"but there nevertheless seems no doubt that Sussmann lied to the FBI. He even did so in writing. When requesting a meeting with FBI General Counsel James Baker, Sussmann texted Baker, "Jim — it's Michael Sussmann. I have something time-sensitive (and sensitive) I need to discuss. Do you have availability for a short meeting tomorrow? I'm coming on my own — not on behalf of a client or company — want to help the Bureau. Thanks." In fact, Sussmann was working for the Clinton campaign. He even billed them for the effort he made to tell the FBI. The part of the message that said "I'm coming on my own — not on behalf of a client or company" was simply not true."

He told the FBI he was neutral but he billed the Clinton campaign for telling the FBI. lol

It does, that he was innocent. Fully and totally exonerated. Crying about it wont change that.

The fact is that he got away with it. The guy lied and Durham proved it. He brought in the text that proved he lied.

It's the same reason why Clinesmith walked for something that would have destroyed any other lawyer's career.

You're a moron.

So let me reverse this scenario. If a Trump campaign person met with Russia and said we want your help in the election but theres proof the Trump campaign specifically told him not to do it. That Trump campaign person was colluding on behalf of the Trump campaign?

Also, whers the outrage of Trump pardoning his people for the exact same crime Sussman was charged with? In some cases they even pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and worse charges like "conspiracy against the US". No, you loved that, because you are a massive hypocrite.

Ah, the old Cajun whataboutism.

We've already discussed what went down with the corrupt FBI and the people who supposedly lied.

I think Trump pardoning his people who were accused of the same and worse crimes is very relevant to the MAGA tears over a Clinton person suffering no consequences for allegedly commiting the same crime. You cry all you want but if you want to say someone is guilty without being convicted by a jury thats fine. I heard Trump on national TV ask Russia to help his campaign. You agree that just because he was never charged and convicted is not proof he didnt commit a crime there? I just as many gripes with the legal justice system as you do. But you want to have it both ways. You want to use the lack of conviction as proof for Trump but refuse to admit lack of conviction exonerates people you dont like. And that is why I mock you.

WHATABOUTISM!!!!

Trump committed no crime here. He's not allowed to ask another country for info they might have?

With what we saw from the FBI you have to be pretty naïve to believe these cases of lying were real.

And a Clinton campaign lawyer isnt allowed to tell the FBI about what he believes is a national security threat? I dont need to believe the FBI. I believe the people who confessed.
