Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

It's played up so much because there is no message or plan for the country. There is legitimate concern that there is no known candidate for 2020 and the country is headed in the right direction economically. Dems are staring at 6 more years of having a minority say in how this country is shaped and they are terrified. So distract the people as much as possible with a nothing story.

I was channel surfing a little while ago and swung by Fox and they were doing a show with Chris Wallace interviewing Jay Sekulow and their "headlines" scrolling at the bottom and it said Mitch McConnell said they hadn't gotten anything done on health care because the Dems were guilty of "obstructionism". Now surely you guys aren't going to let that one slide, are you? Talk about the pot and the kettle.

Oh and if the president isn't setting out a clear plan for the future of the country who do you all think is supposed to do this? Surely the minority party and the MSM can't stop the majority party in both houses from getting their own legislation passed, and Fox and the RWM from putting the message out there, if they're worth a ****e for anything, right?

So Sekulow either made up the Secret Service thing, or Trump himself—the only one under SS protection at the time—was at/near the meeting.

The health care debate has been an absolute disaster. The smart move would have been to do nothing and let Obamacare just collapse all on its own. Should have just let premiums and deductables rise to unpalatable amounts and then the appetite for reform would have been much higher among the population. It was a campaign promise that couldn't be wallked back on and one of many mistakes this current administration and congress have made in the last 6 months.

Of course obstructionism is bad. I was never pressed to defend the R's in Obamas presidency. However, since they would be obstructing to things I didn't want passed I sure as hell would not have been too upset about it.

I think I've said this before but just in case, I don't think Obamacare was a good thing. I DO think it was a good idea/concept but it was not put into operation very well and now the R's are making the same DUMAS mistakes the D's did when they controlled Congress between 2008-2010. It's a whole lot easier to criticize others attempt at governing than it is to govern yourself, huh? As for Mitch the Bitch McConnell claiming obstructionism, if any R wants to claim any form of legitimacy with me (not that they care at all mind you) they will condemn this piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken ****e now and every day until the end of time.

As for Sekulow I think he's a decent guy, generally speaking, who has made the classic mistake of merging his religious beliefs with his political beliefs and just assuming that oil and water will mix and stay mixed in the eyes of God. If you make a deal with the devil it will bite you in the arse, it's not a question of if, it's a question of when. You simply cannot dance with the devil all night long and expect him to go home at dawn without taking something with him.

I have no use for the Dem party, but I swear the Repubs are actually suckier and no I don't say that lightly. Right now we're stuck between a party that claims to care about most Americans (the Dems) but doesn't really, at least not in their actions, only in their words, and a party that doesn't even try to hide it anymore, the Repubs. I just hope those guys have their monogrammed kneepads, paid for by the big money interests who own the deeds to their souls, or whatever passes for their souls these days.

Obstruction is good if you are trying to prevent a bad move.

I agreed with the Republicans obstructing ACA. And I agree with the dems for obstructing Trumpcare

While every politician only cares about their special interest moneys I believe that policies pushed by the right are for hte people. Its about allowing us to make our own decisions and have more control of our destiny. That is what this country was built on and for some reason we are moving away from that.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing so I can't really agree/disagree too much. I think we are talking about the same title of a topic, like chocolate chip cookies, which I think we can all agree are great, but what I think is inside the container and what you think is insider the container could be vastly different. The policies pushed by the right speak to all the people but in the end only benefit the wealthy. All you have to do is check out some financial income sheets to check that out. The Dems always speak to helping all the people but in the end are very little different in what they really do when given a chance, ie NAFTA, the TPP, etc. Trickle Down economics really doesn't benefit "regular people" though they insist it does. Here's one, if the Repubs love regular working people so much why do they love outsourcing jobs so much?

My company doing better helps me. Business doing better helps me. I'm in a very in demand field and with more jobs available the demand goes up while the supply is staying the same. That results in more compensation for my services.

I'll always be pro-business. Just not the big box stores and massive investment houses that seem to always grow under Liberal policies.

I wish you nothing but the best dude, but to be honest what you just wrote sounds more like supply side economics textbook stuff. It sounds good on paper but in real like those at the top just take all the profits for themselves and let the work "trickle down" to those on the lower ends of the pyramid.

But that is just not what you see in the market. Just look the job listings in any region of the country. There are so many accounting positions available. Especially those with a CPA and public experience. When companies grow they need a larger accounting function. That is nothing but truth.

While his sycophants argue this a "which " hunt only Trump rep on Sunday shows was his Russia lawyer

and even he screwed it up saying the Secret Service ... nonsense nonsense nonsense.
Long and short
The SS refuted his story.

Why do they keep lying and why did Trump hire Michael Flynn when he didn't have to ?
Or, did he ?

What is in his tax returns that makes him refuse to make them public ?
....

and jut to be clear, Jr had a Russia lawyer a month before he lied and said there was no meeting
why did he lie ?

The lawyer was / is paid for by the Trump 2020 campaign, meaning, Donald Sr is just as much involved

Maybe he'll get that perfect HC system he promised --his sycophants.
I never believed a word he said

OK, but that's ONE line of work. It was/is my understanding that pretty much all areas/jobs are in greater demand these days. I"m not seeing that. If people need that many accountants that probably means they're trying harder to hide all that income they're getting from outsourcing American jobs. Seriously though, just like in sturg's case I"m happy for you, even though I may not be happy about the overall situation.

Hiding income is tax work. And even then it's not really hiding. There is little you can get away with now with how structured public company audits are.

The real issue currently is transfer pricing whereby income is moved to other regions at lower tax rates. Even that now is being heavily scrutinized.

with the dems for obstructing Trumpcare

hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

takes a breath

hahahahahahahahaha

they can't obstruct anything, there is no filibuster in the senate

we don't have people in posts around the world and stuff is not passing cause of republicans. there is nothing to stopping them except themselves being awful at governing

Most politicians would have gone to a meeting like the one Don jr attended in order to get info on an opponent. That's politics!

no , that is not politics but solicitation from a foreign entity.
......................

But then again, according to Trump circa last week, there was no meeting
No wonder sturg can't keep up

Keep going.

This is getting good.

Just throwing as many falsehoods out hoping that people believe it. Just like 'news' outlets continuing to report fake news and then retracting it days/weeks/months later.
