Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

National Security? No, too much responsibility/accountability.

I'd love to be a foreign policy advisor though.

NEW: White House says Trump's attorneys have already approved the idea of appointing a second special counsel to investigate the FBI and Justice Department.

I am an expert on the Picts. If you need a special adviser on foreign policy to the Picts keep me in mind.

Note that you are an advisor and I am an adviser to the advisor. It is important we keep our story straight. We need consistency in case we are interrogated separately.

not sure where to plant this link - Memo related

Significantly, the Bill of Rights assumes that the people possess rights inherently, not that they are given rights by the government. The Fourth Amendment declares: “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Gowdy is the only House Republican to have seen all the interviews Mueller's team has conducted.

His response was to... quit politics.

I thought there was pretty clear subtext to his statements both about the Nunes memo and the Mueller investigation. Coming from him, I think that's noteworthy.

Let me say about Gowdy, like OJ and the killer and Trump and Obama's real birth certificate
I am disappointed he never got to the bottom of Benghazi

Don't let the door hit ...

Was just curious about the wording on 57's post. I didn't realize Gowdy would be sitting in on Mueller interviews?

Dunno about that. It seems unlikely that he's privy to info beyond what's been shared between the Committee and the Mueller investigation. I imagine that might include knowing, possibly, who has been interviewed, but not the substance of those interviews.

My reading is Gowdy and Nunes have read FISA and the Mueller info provided by Justice Dept a few weeks back.

Gowdy was invited , as a former prosecuter, to assist Nunes.

That was my understanding, even before the tweet.

Willing to be corrected
