If he plans to issue a report on obstruction first as has been reported in the media, I think Mueller will have gotten the sequencing right. The question of obstruction should not turn on the results of the investigation into collusion. It is not for the subjects of an investigation to determine ahead of time whether an investigation should be undermined or not. Abuse of power is abuse of power.

its a target rich environment...i've noted several times that there are multiple things that could bring Trump down

1) financial entanglements and crimes pre-dating his run for the presidency...some with Russians others not
2) abuse of power related to the Comey firing
3) collusion

I should add another one I suppose:

4) crimes committed while covering up relationships with McDougal and Daniels and maybe others
 
Would #4 be reference to blackmailable escapades ?

Be they financial or personal, why was the Trump campaign so flush with Russian influence , Ideology has never been Trump's MO.

Even if there is meat on the PeeTape bone, it has to be something deeper than that, I dont think Trump is scared of that revelation.
Nothing against the law there,

I still think the most likely residing place for any smoking gun is Deutsche. At a time when no other bank was willing to do business with him someone gave an implicit or explicit guarantee that made Deutsche willing to do so. That sort of guarantee doesn't come out of the goodness of someone's heart.

GRU attempted to hack Claire McCaskill’s campaign. Microsoft has apparently identified attempts to penetrate two other Senate campaigns...surely all Republicans, since the President has assured us that he’s so tough on Russia.

a few more, perhaps with more teeth than actual crimes:

1. A Dem majority in Congress.

2. A struggling economy

3. Poll numbers below the low 30s flat earther constituency.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when it was, but I remember having the realization (perhaps a naive one) that, even after the lawyers, and then the better lawyers, got involved, that they—the Trumps and the Trump-adjacent—had been lying and would continue to lie about nearly every substantive thing wrt to the Russia investigation.
 
It’s probably just a footnote, but maybe worth remembering that the DoJ case against Prevezon Holdings (represented by whatsherface Veselnitskaya and allegedly a subject of discussion at the Trunp Tower meeting) was settled for pennies on the dollar.
 



How fox news covers this story. Newsflash, BOTH Trump and Hillary are criminals. It doesnt have to be one or the other. If we really investigated these politicians it would be like doping in the Tour de France.

ofc he did. this has been obvious from the start. of course he's lying, of course his son is lying. they've been caught lying about literally every single aspect of this from the very start, and the story changes every time they get caught. don jr lied in official testimony.

the media is so, so soft on trump it's insane.
