Once Mueller presents his findings, if he ever does, the conversation should change direction, so it probably won't be 2 more years of "this".

Trump appears to have been screwed from the day he won the election. If he had only lost to Hillary none of this would matter, which is probably how he was playing it.

it has been clear for a while now that
1) the Russians targeted the Trump campaign with a multi-pronged influence operation
2) the Trump campaign knew about this and was happy to engage in a quid pro quo arrangement
what we are finding out each day now are additional details of the arrangement

Looks to me like Mueller has something with campaign finance issues and maybe some lying to congress (of which would not have happened had there not been an investigation)
I haven't seen anything on collusion yet. I may have missed it though.
I though Mueller dumping this on Friday night was interesting

Explain to me the purpose of lying to congress if they did nothing wrong? Mueller was aurthorized to investigate links and coordination between Russia and member of the Trump campaign, any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation, and to prosecute any federal crimes arising from the investigation.
So far several criminals have been convicted that were apart of the Trump campaign. I wish every administration had a special prosecutor investigating them like this. Finding criminals in politics is like shooting fish in a barrell. It amazes me that any Libertarian would want less independent investigation.

I really am not opposed to this investigation but I still contend there is no evidence to take down Trump and nobody has been able to show me otherwise.
They very well may get him on something else like campaign finances but that's not colluding with a foreign enemy

I'm certain he's committed crimes. They all have. Trump has zero moral compass.
Investigate Obama's campaign for 2 years and I'm sure crimes will be found, lies will be told, etc.

Cohen was directed to make contact but didnt because he had better access elsewhere

What do you call the Trump Tower meeting with a Russian National with strong ties to the Russian Government? Federal law calls it a crime to solicit anything of value from a foreign national. This isnt an investigation solely based on collusion. As they say the coverup is often worse than the crime. The narrative that there has to be proof of collusion or every other crime uncovered doesnt matter is hogwash.
From what I can tell the Trump campaign did not collude with Russia but they did solicit valuable campaign material from a Russian national. The real issue as I see it is that Trump has been working for Russia since 1987 to destabilize America for financial incentive. For example, after his first trip to Moscow in 1987 he took up a full page ad against NATO. Surely just a coincidence. I dont think there was direct collusion with Russia but Putin helped Trump knowing he could hold that stuff over him. I think we should wait for the Mueller report to be finished before we really reach any conclusions here though. How can we say theres no evidence when the report thats supposed to detail the evidence hasnt even been released? Yeah its taken a long time but that might have something to do with all the Trump people convicted of lying to the FBI. Thats going to bog down any investigation.
