Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

"Our system of checks and balances relies on each branch’s jealously guarding its powers and upholding its duties under our Constitution. When loyalty to a political party or to an individual trumps loyalty to the Constitution, the Rule of Law—the foundation of liberty—crumbles."

Indeed. Well said Mr. Amash. Well said.

How nice that someone can look at this in a non-partisan way without the usual fatuous whataboutism about Hillary or Obama. Can't wait for the usual suspects to chime in about all other presidents lying and doing similar things. And oh yeah mumble mumble process crime.

glad someone is willing to point out that Justin is a deep state RINO witch hunter...something that needs to be said...and I suppose Justin is also part of the "coup" that minority leader McCarthy was talking about...hopefully Barr will investigate the whole thing and bring it to light

I will say that Justin is a maverick and it is unlikely that this is any sort of harbinger of things to come. It would be much more significant if his comments were coming from an establishment type member of Congress. Say Richard Shelby to pull a name out of the air.

Amash, a libertarian, considers himself a strict constitutionalist and in February was the lone Republican to join a Democratic bill to stop Trump from declaring a national emergency to fund his border wall.

“From the time the President was elected, I was urging them to remain independent and to be willing to push back against the President where they thought he was wrong,” Amash told CNN in March. “They’ve decided to stick with the President time and again, even where they disagree with him privately.”

I will be surprised (pleasantly surprised) if just one more Republican member joins Justin in concluding that impeachment is warranted.

The mental gymnastics to act like you are angry cause you claim you were spies on while asking your attorney general lapdog to investigate political opponents is nothing short of amazing

Isn't Amash a Freedom Caucus(er) ?

a firm believer in Liberty I believe

which is why it is so sad he has come down with TDS

with respect to the "Freedom Caucus" I believe his attendance at their meetings has been dwindling...he told them they were compromising their principles by being in the tank so much for Trump and it didn't go over well

still a significant break with DJT.

Viet Nam policys sarted eroding when maverick (D) began to question LBJ after Gulf of Tonkin. 1964-65
Morse of Oregon comes to mind as the first. (I think)

He like Amash was an outlier in party politics
Curious to see if the Kasich's and others with Presidential ambitions get on board.
Ala Eugene McCarthy

oh yes please explain again how Obama

and a bunch of lifelong Republicans in the FBI conspired

with Hillary to spy on Trump's campaign so that Hillary

would lose her own election so then the deep state could

take Trump down because holy fuucking sht

that makes perfect sense to me

Amash has always been the best member of Congress as I've said for years.

With that said, the Dems either need to impeach or move on.

the senate will never convict...the smart play by the Dems is to Benghazi Trump...they have a lot of material to work with...a yuge amount...it will take months of hearings...he will be assimilated
