I've been hearing this talking point a lot the last 24 hours since the hearings all over right-wing media. Just an effort to try and change the tone of the conversation. Mueller proved to the world he wasn't a partisan hack like Trump and the right have continuously tried to portray him as. So now they want to say he had little to do with his own report so they can try and say the 18 Angry Dems did all the work and put Mueller's name on it.
Mueller struck me as a guy that didn't want to give an answer on something unless he was pretty certain about it. The few times it seemed like he wasn't sure what was being asked, seemed more like he knew it was a leading and loaded question and wanted to be absolutely certain he was going to give the answer he wanted. He was under oath after all, and why people expected him to just answer and answer under pressure as he was is just unreasonable. This isn't a Presidential debat where you can just make up stuff as you go along like Trump and don't have to worry about being under oath and be punished for lying.
Dude is old, was up there for 5 hours. Trump wouldn't last under oath for 5 minutes before he'd say something incoherent and misleading.
And he was also asked a lot of loaded questions that even the questioners knew he wouldn't be able to answer. And I've seen people criticize him for that. What I saw was clearly a dude who isn't paying attention to the Fox News bubble or the MSNBC bubble or CNN bubble. The fact that he proved from his testimony that he didn't have a political agenda and was doing this independently, is more the reason the right wants to paint the picture of him not having anything to do with it. He simply isn't this Deep State figure that Trump and Hannity and thethe kept trying to make him out to be and was only doing his job the right way. So now that he's not the boogeyman, we have to find another boogeyman to blame. It's all deflection and misdirection. It's the same stuff with Pelosi and the Squad. Last year Pelosi was receiving the same hate from right wing media the Squad is now. Now people like thethe and right-wing news sites are "sympathizing" for Pelosi as if they all of the sudden care about her dealing with the Squad. More misdirection, more gaslighting. It never ends.
All I had to do was load up Facebook and see all my right-wing friends posting statuses about the Mueller testimony as if it was their own words... but really it was just more copy and pasting from fox news propaganda. It's clear they either didn't watch the testimony, or they only watched the Fox News "Highlights".
Just remember, for the last 2 years we kept hearing how Mueller and Comey were BFF's so Mueller couldn't possibly be neutral and fair.
Mueller's report apparently cleared Trump of any wrong doing. And if he's innocent, he shouldn't have ever had to fire Comey to begin with because Comey would have come up with the same conclusion as the Mueller report. But Trump admitted on National TV he fired Comey because he wouldn't drop the investigation.
That's about as basic a logic you could possibly use to see clear obstruction.

Trump installed Barr just for the Mueller Report. If by 2020 election day, Barr has uncovered nothing we'll never know because if it never gets mentioned again, you get to just say Barr wasn't a partisan hack after calling Mueller one for the last 2 years.
Trump installed Wray at the FBI, Barr at the Justice Department, and Haspel at the CIA. He now has the power to take down the Deep State NOW. If Wray and Barr end up with nothing, will it be because the Deep State covered it up, or because they found nothing?
