This is just drivel. The fact that conservatives get a lot of their media from right-wing sources that don't even make a token effort to be accurate or unbiased, but instead actively deceived their readers, is not a virtue.

Plenty of liberals get media from non-MSM sources on the left which are just as biased and inaccurate as right-wing outlets. I doubt you consider that a virtue. I certainly don't.

You have a very distorted and naive vision of how law enforcement and prosecution operates in this country, probably because you have spent way to much time reading conservative media which has long dick-ridden the police state. There was nothing abnormal about this at all, which the thousands of whining prosecutors should tell you.

To my mind, the problem with the Flynn and Stone interferences by Barr is not that the cases were dropped or sentences reduced, per se, it is that ONLY these cases get this kind of pearl-clutching concern for defendant rights. If the DOJ, which is typically extremely aggressive in its prosecutions and plea negotiations, applied these principles across the board I would be ecstatic.

But they don't and they won't, because your standard defendant isn't a crony of the president. That's why this is so hacky.

I don't have a distorted view of this. You don't have a freaking clue to what you're talking about. You listen to this **** media and dream up conspiracies that don't exist. Do you know any lawyers? I do. Ask any defense lawyer and they'll tell you that this kind of bias will get your client off. I don't care about what a bunch of lib DOJ people say. In fact, Barr didn't even make the decision. Jeff Jenson, who investigated the case recommended that it be dropped after seeing the nonsense involved and Barr followed his decision. Didn't know that, did you?
 
asking lawyer friends about this DOJ and administration is not the route you want me to go

cause to say they approve of almost any of the **** they have been pulling would be an understatement

at least from the times i have talked to them about these crooks

they were split and still some say they don't think we really haven't seen all the info cause it makes zero sense for some of these people to lie about meetings etc if nothing was going on

and if they had a client that did any of that, they would think he would be guilty

i remember one conservative lawyer friend saying Flynn should go to the prison for lying to the FBI about contacts though

What did Flynn lie about? Pence has already said looking back he didn't think Flynn lied now. You have to remember Trump and Pence were taking the word of the FBI too at the time about Flynn which ended up being a mistake. Flynn was pressured to admit to lying in order to protect his son from being a future target. I believe this because KT McFarland was saying how the FBI was doing this to her. The FBI was desperate to get Trump and tried to get Trump's people to turn on him. If you don't think Trump wasn't in their sights just go back to what Strzok said.

Btw, if your lawyer friends don't think bias doesn't get people off they need to go back to law school. Look at the evidence Jeff Jenson dug up that he presented to Barr. It's bad.

Yeah, I'm sure in your cases the prosecution was caught showing bias and the people went to prison. LOL! I'm sure it has happened, especially to blacks in the past but in the present prosecutors can't get away with statements like this in the open.
