Russia Collusion Scandal (aka A Leftist fantasy)

Oh wait...you still believe in this conspiracy that was nothing more than a coup from the most corrupt administration this country has seen.

I hope one day to see Hussein in handcuffs. He deserves it.

Hussein needs to be in cuffs and hung till dead for this act of treason against America.

Remember over 3 years ago when I said this would end up boomeranging back onto the Hussein regime?

Its about to get real good.

What was found in Durhams report will be devastating.

Why take so long to release it? Think the American people would have liked to know this before the disastrous 2020 election?

When are we going to investigate Ukrainian interference? How about UK interference? Australia?

I predicted a couple of years ago that this whole investigation would boomerang. It will eventually find its way at Obamas feet. His administration illegally spied on an opposition campaign. It doesn't get more corrupt than that.

No one cares what Durham says. He has already shown himself to be a political hack out to "get Clinton" and failed miserably.

Odd that the FBI apologized for its “missteps” if no one cares.

It would just be a lot more upstanding to say “ I’m sorry thethe, you were right and I was wrong” and just own it

Was I wrong when I said I didnt think Trump would be proven to collude with Russia in the Mueller report?

Even though there is a fair amount of nonsense in Durham's report even he has now stated that the FBI had solid grounds for opening the investigation. For reasons that only he can explain he buried this finding on page 295. This finding is consistent with the findings in other reports (Horowitz, Mueller, Senate Intelligence Committee). It bears noting that this investigation (known as Crossfire Hurricane) was of Russia and its attempts to influence the elections in 2016. Trump himself became the subject of a different investigation (authorized by his own Justice Department and led by Robert Mueller) after he fired Comey. In an interview he gave the following explanation for firing Comey:

"I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job. I faced great pressure because of Russia. That's taken off."

Unfortunately for him, the move had the opposite effect and it turned out there were quite a few things regarding contacts between his campaign officials and family members and Russians that he would have preferred not be looked at too closely.

I looked on page 295 and didn't see it. Durham concluded that the FBI should have never launched the full probe. Maybe a preliminary one.

He notes several "sensible steps" that the FBI could have taken, all of which amount to investigations of various sorts. It would have been dereliction on their part not to investigate. Whether it be a full investigation or the alternative sensible steps mentioned by Durham can be debated. But ignoring the information received from the Australians and ignoring the release of the hacked emails earlier that summer was not a reasonable option.
