SATURDAY GAME THREAD vs Marlins 5/12/18

I'm just talking about the way they are playing right now. The overall record is brutal, no doubt... but they are giving us plenty of competition in this series, and I didn't expect that

Braves have played like crap so that explains some of it

It’s mind boggling with the production we were getting out 3B why we handed the job to Bautista. Guy hasn’t played 3B in 10 years and we give him the job at dam near 40. Just stupid.

Let me break it down:

Flaherty is a bad player.

Camargo is a utility infielder.

They took a shot on getting a positive contribution at 3b at no cost.

It’s been basically no time at all and they can stop it at any point. It’s not nearly the big deal it’s being made out to be.

LOL, Flowers stole a strike on that 2-0 pitch. Minters has to be considered a bit of a disappointment right now. He can't seem to throw strikes

Nothing about this year has been a disappointment for Minter. He’s up and down at times, but he’s been super solid.

Flaherty is not a bad player. He has played well. Over his head yes...but he’s solid.
