SHORT-SEASON

GCL Braves (31-28) @ GCL Tigers, CANCELLED

All Times Eastern

The best overlooked pitching performance of the last month belongs to Jeremy Walker. The right-hander, who was the Braves' 5th round pick in 2016, has gone 3-0, 1.06 over his last six starts. That's four earned runs over his last 34 innings.
Walker has struck out 24 with just 3 walks in that period. Three of his starts were scoreless, including a seven-inning shutout on August 12. He's listed a 6-5, 205, but is probably bigger now. He's a little older than our phenoms (22 in June).

Update:
Now 4-0, 0.92 over his final seven starts (four earned runs in 30 innings).
