The issue with Allard has never been his ERA.

There isn’t a single team in today’s game that evaluates pitching prospects by ERA.

I’m still on the Touki train but I think he ends up as a high-leverage reliever

That’d be fine too but I think he’s been making progress that maybe isn’t showing up in his era.

They’ll give a guy that can go 7 dominant innings a bunch more opportunity to start though.

Wow. Touki was bad ass tonight. 88-63 pitches/k

Touki is the next Folty I’m afraid. He will show what he is capable of..get us excited....and then follow that by getting tourched.

My gosh though...if he can just put it together!!

Tarnok in 6 games has given up zero runs...

After his first AAA inning, you were crowing how his fastball wasn't good enough for even AAA.

I hope Allard does well...so we can trade him. His stuff just isn’t as good as the other guys. I think he will be a decent 3-4 type guy...we just have a ton of those types.

Allard milb career...

264.2 ip 235 h 88 er 77 bb 254 k
Era = 2.99
Whip = 1.18
BAA = .240

He is 20, and he is in AAA and maintaining these career numbers... little better at the moment. Sorry, but I don't see the whole bunch better options out there in our system.
