(D) against choice because their most reliable constituency doesn’t want competition. That’s the whole thing.
 
Not at all.
The concept is based on not wanting your white childen rubbing elbows with the coloreds. You can look that up.
Some a that ol' time when America was great ( again)
I've asked you before to invests little time to research the origins of the school choice issues and at least honestly understand the issue.
But hey, MAGA gonna MAGA.

Do you think people in 2024 want school choice because they don’t want their white children to run elbows with the coloreds?

It is the issue where (D) orthodoxy is most problematic imo. They'd rather carry water for the teachers unions than adopt policies that improve educational outcomes.

Someone tell the blacks, who’s support for choice runs as high or higher than any other race.

BTW, if (D) were standing on principle against choice because of its alleged racist origins, it makes me wonder why they are the most full-throated supporters of the minimum wage…
 
I know many post 2016 openly say as much!
Many meaning many.
One example is a locally growing rural community of home schoolers..

Another is the " Christian" school
They allow AA peole provided they run fast and/or jump high.

I worked with a man 25-30 years ago that told the story of how in the early 70s his father organized the founding of "Christian " school over integration and the mixin̈g of black and white high schools
forcing his sons be taught Geometry by a black woman.
True.story, to this day thr school is a money maker.
 
Locally it’s treated as a daycare instead of a place
To better yourself. It’s absolutely ruined the local public school system

The states with the highest private school attendance are pretty much all located in the north east.

Vouchers were created to keep White kids from going to school

They were used to fund “segregation academies.”

Well that's a straight up lie.

School vouchers legitimately have had income limits until recently. Income limits would prevent most white kids from obtaining a voucher. They were literally designed for low income families to have access to better education and not be stuck sending their kid to school in the ****ty district where they live. Minority enrollment into private schools have increased DRAMATICALLY in states that allow school choice.

But you know, don't let facts get in the way of a good lie.

School choice predates “MAGA” by many decades

Again, the dodging and attempted misdirections don’t change the fact that (D) is anti choice for the very simple reason that teachers unions are opposed to the competition. No need overcomplicate.

As the example I passed on above.
Then people saw (Devos etal) how to raid. and endgame privitize public education.

Minority enrollment in private education is up significantly in states the have started school choice programs.

You going to address this or nah?
