School Openings

No school should be named after Diane Feinstein I agree with that 100%. Removing Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washington is absurd. My experiences going through public schools was absolutely miserable because of teachers who were the dumbest mother****ers I have ever met. Nothing like getting every question on a test and the teacher giving me a C.

Its all pretty sinnister. Inflict as much pain as possible. Just be woke while doing.

I recently saw SF apartment prices cratering. Maybe they solve their homeless problem by making everyone leave the hell hole?

I can't even attempt to explain how different NYC is right now. Was down in Little Italy last night and its basically 30% from last year.

She’s the real winner of this story, having been mentioned in the same sentence as those others, lol

As a tax payer in this county, I can't think of a more useless place to allocate our funds than these public school teachers.

Schools have been shown they can operate pretty safely in person despite this threads lack of faith. Cmon Fairfax teachers...lets get this thing back to normal.

At least they managed to not include criminal justice reform measures, ballot access, and the green new deal from their list of conditions to safely reopen the school

Protecting peoples ability to vote is priority 1 over everything and that goes for everyone no matter who you want to vote for. Democrats should consider that the condition to even get them in the room to negotiate.

What does that have to do with safely reopening a school district?

I know that the unions and the lazy teachers will throw a fit... but can anyone explain to me why this is a bad thing?

How does one support workers rights and banding together to accomplish that goal?

Pretty easily actually

This aggravates me. I support unions and think they should generally be considered a good thing to protect American workers in this age of global conglomerate corporatism. Then we get these guys coming along and making the entire concept look stupid.

why, do you think teachers banding together for bargaining and job protections ( financial and physical) is a bad idea ?

Or is it just unions in general ?

you continually slam the road travelled that expanded and protected the middle class and never explain
why ?

If I thought it would be worthwhile explaining it to you, I would.

As it stands, there needs to be a declaration that they will no longer get paid if they don't go in

You have no answers -just parroting what you think the bosses would like.
There is a well known phrase that dedcribes those type actions
