Don't get me wrong, not all scientists are evil or coldly sociopathic, whatever words you choose. Far from it in fact. But the truth of the matter is that brilliant scientists have been just has horrifically sociopathic in their decision making as any other mass murderer in history. History has proven this, yet we as a society have glorified the idea of scientists in their moral high ground without question. I believe that we as a society should understand science, but we shouldn't pay attention to scientists, if that makes sense? So are you one who follows scientists or do you follow science? I think there's a big difference there.
 
Neil DeGrasse Tyson makes science so much more enjoyable, and makes you WANT to learn about new and interesting things.
 
As long as we don't repeat the mistakes of Will Rodman from "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," I'm good with scientists.
