Losing 2 of 3 to both Mets and Phiiiies in final 6 does not bode well for momentum going into PS> That put the Braves into 3rd place and cost a home field advantage series.

8 hits total in 2 losses to Mets, 6 hits total in 2 losses to Phiiiies

I don't really believe in "momentum" for the playoffs. Teams go in to the playoffs all the time on scorching hot winning streaks only to be bounced out early and the opposite happens all the time.

Agreed. Braves seemed to take their foot off the gas once they clinched. Can't really blame them after a long season.

Degrom and Nola aren’t exactly slouches.

So...who is the Yelich of this off season?

The guy everyone knows is good but not this good, on a rebuilder, willing to trade to a team wanting to take the next step?

Milwaukee with runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out! Top of the lineup coming up. They have a great chance to blow this thing wide open. I'd love to see the Cubs in the wild card game lol

I just walked into a convenience store and they were playing John Denver’s Rocky Mountain High. Looks like we’re playing the Rockies.

Wanted Yelich so damn bad, would have fit perfect with the timeline and current group of players.

How much do you guys think the Cubs being in the wild card increased our chances at making the WS? I'd say we are probably now 2% more likely to make it. If the Dodgers also get beat tonight I think our chances go up another 3%.
