WE got a new player, YES.

I think we should get more than 10 this time, late game, people not forgetting and what not. I am hoping.

Newcomer did well with some difficult question this round.

Julio despite not getting a single bonus point won with a whopping 30.

I guess Crimson didn't need the awful answer for bonus question to get a respectable score.

All in all, only 2 people actually scored points with the bonus question.

Dalyn must have imbibe too many coctails on his vacation, worse score ever for him.

I am curious how the scoring works? For the yes or no answers I assume you get a point for having the correct answer. The other questions is what I don't think I get. Say for question 8. The answer was 8 and I guessed 15.
Is there a margin of error plus or minus that allow us to get points?

He is the query used to calculate points. Then this is put into VB as a recordset.

case q1 when a1 then 3 else 0 end,
case q2 when a2 then 3 else 0 end,
case q3 when a3 then 3 else 0 end,
case q4 when a4 then 3 else 0 end,
case q5 when a5 then 3 else 0 end,

case when q6 = a6 then 5
when q6 = a6 + 1 then 4
when q6 = a6 - 1 then 4
when q6 = a6 + 2 then 3
when q6 = a6 - 2 then 3
when q6 = a6 + 3 then 2
when q6 = a6 - 3 then 2
when q6 = a6 + 4 then 1
when q6 = a6 - 4 then 1
else 0 end,

case when q7 = a7 then 5
when q7 = a7 + 1 then 4
when q7 = a7 - 1 then 4
when q7 = a7 + 2 then 3
when q7 = a7 - 2 then 3
when q7 = a7 + 3 then 2
when q7 = a7 - 3 then 2
when q7 = a7 + 4 then 1
when q7 = a7 - 4 then 1
else 0 end,

case when q8 = a8 then 5
when q8 = a8 + 1 then 4
when q8 = a8 - 1 then 4
when q8 = a8 + 2 then 3
when q8 = a8 - 2 then 3
when q8 = a8 + 3 then 2
when q8 = a8 - 3 then 2
when q8 = a8 + 4 then 1
when q8 = a8 - 4 then 1
else 0 end,

case when q9 = a9 then 5
when q9 = a9 + 1 then 4
when q9 = a9 - 1 then 4
when q9 = a9 + 2 then 3
when q9 = a9 - 2 then 3
when q9 = a9 + 3 then 2
when q9 = a9 - 3 then 2
when q9 = a9 + 4 then 1
when q9 = a9 - 4 then 1
else 0 end,

case when q10 = a10 then 5
when q10 = a10 + 1 then 4
when q10 = a10 - 1 then 4
when q10 = a10 + 2 then 3
when q10 = a10 - 2 then 3
when q10 = a10 + 3 then 2
when q10 = a10 - 3 then 2
when q10 = a10 + 4 then 1
when q10 = a10 - 4 then 1
else 0 end,

case when q11 = a11 then 10
when q11 = a11 + 1 then 9
when q11 = a11 - 1 then 9
when q11 = a11 + 2 then 8
when q11 = a11 - 2 then 8
when q11 = a11 + 3 then 7
when q11 = a11 - 3 then 7
when q11 = a11 + 4 then 7
when q11 = a11 - 4 then 6
when q11 = a11 + 5 then 5
when q11 = a11 - 5 then 5
else 0 end

You can see how the points are calculated.
