Sean Murphy with a hip tear

Done for the season. This may go down as AA's worst move since he's been here is holding onto Murphy past the deadline. There's no way he gets moved this offseason now. A hip tear is probably the equivalent to a pitching having shoulder problems.
 
lol.. man I am really bummed I wont get to see him anymore this year. Guys, you know how much I love him.


also, fire the fuck out of the medical staff.. the Braves can't keep anyone healthy.. not even guys who play once a week.

It’s not the medical staff’s fault. It’s Snitker and these idiots letting him run our players into the ground. (Though, that’s obviously not the case with our catchers.)
 
The hip has been bothering him for 3 years and let it get all the way to a tear before doing anything? That seems like the most fireable thing ever.
 
I guess if I'm squinting hard to find something optimistic here, I can say that it's a good thing they forced Murphy to have the surgery immediately instead of letting him play out the season like he wanted. Baseball players are not known for their extreme intelligence, but christ, that was a stupid idea, Sean.
 
sure Meth head never told anyone.. but did the team not see something in his stats (bat speed, EV, sprint speed, pop time, etc) that would maybe lend them to asking/checking on him? I mean, you should be employing a full time staff of nerds to crunch data on many different levels.

eh.. maybe not.. maybe they just let the inmates run the asylum and they just sit back scoping out land to buy.
