Because there are *some* rights afforded to non-citizens, and we shouldn’t be sending people to a foreign prison without even knowing if they’re in a violent gang or not. I’m not sure why it’s controversial to suggest we can’t send people we don’t know are violent criminals to a place for violent criminals.

Because we didn’t follow the legal process to determine if they are and instead immediately deported them to a prison in El Salvador using a wartime power from a couple hundred years ago.

Maybe! They detained a US citizen for hours when his ID was with them and they didn’t follow a legal process to set up these deportations to a maximum security prison.

Okay, but I never supported expanding the courts (in fact I’m positive I spoke out against it here) and it’s not something the Dems did.

do you not understand how much more tyrannical and dangerous it is when elected officials are calling to expand the court and defy the court?

thethe is a dude on a message board and you had a freakout for his calling to the same. We had to live with the thread of your preferred party seriously trying to do it, along with ending the filibuster (which they magically support once again!)

I wish you would see the danger of your radical party
