This is what I don’t get. If someone is such an American hating threat to society that you must immediately arrest and deport him upon terminating his visa to save America, how was he in good enough standing to be working with the government on citizenship? This is startlingly aggressive behavior for ICE to take on someone who has followed the processes required to become a citizen.

But why this? This is essentially DEI in reverse. We’re deporting people not based on their merit, but instead on whether they check some arbitrary box. This individual was not doing harm to America. He wasn’t raising the crime rate or disrupting communities. Doing this whole “we need to surprise him with deportation and take him into custody right away” stunt being pulled under the guise of national security is as laughable as it is repugnant.

I’m asking you, thethe, why it is good for us to pull someone’s green card and set up a sting operation at their citizenship hearing? This isn’t a criminal, so why not just send him a letter in the mail?

Because the goal is to actually deport people. Not function within a system designed to keeep people in the country.

Trump was transparent on his goals and win by a landslide.

I still think you’re misreading the room when it comes to deporting non-violent green card holders for being critical of Israel. I’m sure you’ll have some people of all political orientations caucus with you on wanting to deport this individual and those like him, but I just doubt it’s that broadly popular.

No, I think I understand the room isn’t vibing with my ideas either. What I’m saying is along the spectrum from mqt to thethe, there exist quite a lot of American voters, and that less of those voters are on board with deporting permanent residents who have committed no crime and have been on 60 Minutes to advocate for causes important to them than you think.

Again, you’re describing the door being left open like we’re only deporting criminals and migrants let in by Biden. You’re deporting people that have been here for longer than your political movement. Not every immigrant deserves to be here, but not every immigrant deserves to be deported.

Every ILLEGAL that came here during autopen deserves to be deported.

Then others are subject ot it as well.

Its important to note that mass deportations were never uttered during Trumps first term nor did anyone within MAGA want mass deportations.
