Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

She also sucks

Frankly women aren't capable to remove their emotional gravity from their logical ones. Putting her on was a mistake.

As was putting Pam Bondi in a role that requires ruthlessness over compassion
You make thethe look like a sane person when you post this sort of drivel.

I’m honestly confused: do we expect that people will not need Medicaid if they work, or are we giving Medicaid a work requirement? With some exceptions for things like disabilities or primary caregivers for dependent children not in school and other circumstances of that nature, I’m honestly on board with the latter. If we’re not going to deal with healthcare, I do think working should be a reasonable expectation for able-bodied folks.

But if they try to claim able-bodied people are just not eligible for Medicaid, that’s a big fucking cut to Medicaid.

Nope - If you are able bodied you need to have some minimum work threshold to be eligible.

Very common sense reform.

The Biden cancer thing really does stink to high heaven. I’m certainly not an expert but it’s hard to believe this diagnosis wasn’t known when Joe was still running in 2024. The combination of incompetence and malpractice from (D) the past 10 years is alarming.

I wish the Biden’s all the best. Cancer sucks.

As someone who aspires to FIRE, one of the key strategies is to structure savings in such a way that you can have low enough taxable income in order to exploit Medicaid / ACA for health coverage. Work requirements seem like common sense stipulations to protect against abuse
