Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

This really shouldn’t be a partisan issue. If you’re a member of Congress and have an Ethics Committee investigation conducted about your behavior, I don’t give a **** if you leave office. Democrats and Republicans alike should have their dirty laundry aired while they’re in office. You’re not opening up a can of worms by releasing the report just because Matt Gaetz wants to be Attorney General. He was an elected official for the duration of the investigation, it’s not like they went after a private citizen.

Problem is an 'ethics investigation' could be completely one sided and just contains non-questions testimony from unreliable witnesses.

Either way - I'd love it if this was all released on everyone.

I look forward to January of 2026 with the economy roaring and Democrats state "Biden handed him a great economy!"

Weakness - There is literally nobody who has ever said that we are going to deport people that have been here in the country for 10+ years.

But you will absolutely need a DEPORTATION FORCE to remove the people that came here in the last 2-3 years.

Think about all the legacies of people htat destroyed this country that Trump ruined.

People still don't understand how lucky we are that he decided to run for President.

I do remember being told that Haley was going to be Trumps VP and that he was a neocon in disguise.

Voter sentiment on deportations is clear. Blue states doing this will accelerate their undoing.

Yes, it is clear that the voters in some states are at least willing to vote for lawmakers that would deport a lot of migrants. Nothing else about voter sentiment is clear, and certainly not the voters in Denver, Colorado.

Too bad presence of illegals is a federal issue and not a state one. Country spoke and said to remove them

Look at those odds on Gaetz being AG.

All of Trumps picks will be confirmed.

2024 was a Trump victory much more than Republican party.

I’m going to greatly enjoy when this “betting markets analysis” phase of American government ends.

Why? You don't like more accurate predictions?

I’m all for consenting adults doing whatever the **** they want with their money, but as an analysis tool it’s massively flawed. It’d be like if the Dallas Cowboys were favored to win the Super Bowl every year because Jerry Jones was in the news a lot and some Cowboys fans got excited.
