SO you think a sexual past, with no indications that the same type of alleged activities are currently taking place, matters for someone?
This is just a ridiculous standard to take which basically boils down to believe all women regardless of the facts and circumstances of each sitution.
Hegseth sexual history has literally zero to do with his ability to ensure the countries military is ready for anything that may come up in the future and to serve the country well. Thinking otherwise is just silly talk.
It’s a fair bit easier to claim there are no indications of this sort when you start from a place of outright dismissing the validity of the claims as a massive conspiracy. You’re taking the exact evidence you’re suggesting to be missing and denying it outright. I don’t think we should be sending Hegseth or Gaetz to jail if the evidence isn’t strong enough, but I simply think it’s an acceptable reason to have reservations about making one of them the Attorney General of Secretary of Defense. There are plenty of wonderful jobs in this country, including in those very departments, they can go do if they aren’t confirmed by the Senate. If we just claim the President’s top choices should be confirmed, why even have the Senate vote in the first place? It’s meant to be a check on Executive power, not a team sport.
