Honest question... do we care at all that Tulsi is the new National Intelligence Director even though she's been in a confirmed cult her entire life? I don't dislike her, but this is not a conspiracy theory. She legit grew up in a cult and still claims the leader is her spiritual leader.

So, I'm guessing you didn't actually read the articles. I just thought it may be good information to have if people weren't aware. Be flippant about it, I don't care. They view Chris Butler as their guru... they treat him as a God... some of the followers put his nail clippings in their food. If you speak out against the organization, you are excommunicated and separated from your family. These are all textbook cult traits.

I don't know... the guy who grew up with her in the organization and wrote about the experience? Her own family members? If this was on the left, you guys would be going nuts. Be honest. Plenty of direct quotes there from people close to her... not just "random internet authors."

I'm unconvinced she is currently in a cult and is suceptible to their manipuation which is what you're implying.

I'm also unconvinced that she was ever in a cult or just a collection of people with non conforming ideas.

If this is your definition of cult how many cults exist in the world?
