I’m pretty sure those hundreds of Trump rallies in the past weren’t planned as Stop the Steal events located right next to the place the steal was allegedly happening, my guy.

This might actually be the dumbest argument you’ve made thus far about January 6th. They had a goddamn march to the Capitol where the people in attendance believed Congress was illegally making Joe Biden the President. It’s like seeing a championship riot break out and wondering if the Feds did it because the fans weren’t flipping cars inside the stadium. The context of the event matters a little bit.

Protection from the banks is a good thing and should not be weakened, but simply calling for the removal of an agency isn’t necessarily calling for a removal of a law/policy. My worry with the upcoming 2nd Trump economy is his collection of policy proposals that he has been blabbering about creating a combination of protectionist measures that hurt consumers tied to concessions on regulations that will allow companies to hurt consumers and austerity measures that impact the poorest Americans.

We’ll see. QVC did campaign on capping interest rates which is about as anti-banking as it gets.
