Or that he thinks Trump can actually end the war since we had a fairly peaceful world during Trump's 4 years.

I know that goes against the TDS religion though.
 
Of course if the war does end the TDS cult will be required to say that the peace treaty would have happened anyway without Trump. lol
 
The Abraham Accords were a solid achievement. And eventually the Russo-Ukrainian War will end with a negotiation. Whether it is a good deal or not will depend on the details.

Well, Ukraine will have some hard concessions to make.

Donbas is gone. That's for sure.
 
Russia will have to give up other conquered areas during the war.

Russia will have to accept Ukraine being a future NATO member.

However, we have to end Ukraine's kleptocracy and make them a real democracy before we do that though.

This imperialist rhetoric is the first Trump action (and reaction from his base) that makes me genuinely nervous. I still think Trump is just posturing, but the combined embrace of demonizing minorities *and* territorial expansion is a troubling one. I sure hope the enthusiasm I’ve seen toward it comes from ignorance.

I'm not nervous about the hot air. But the day may come when we need some good will from the peoples and political leaders of Panama, Canada and Denmark. Seems senseless to throw that away for some cheap thrills.

I’m less worried about Trump and more worried about what it means about the people who are all-in on his hot air.
