Is Putin a democratically elected?
I'm sure PUtin would win a complete free and fair election but not by the margins he is winning them currently. There is no reason to bleieve that Putin is outright stealing elections and his people don't want him to lead the country.
But pretty cool irrelevant point as usual

And can you cite me some sources on forcing Facebook to ban people. All I can find is Zuckerberg saying they asked and we said no. Much the same as Trump called the ABC president and tried to get him to censor Jimmy Kimmel for making jokes about Trump. If you want to criticize the Biden admin that's fine, but let's not pretend Trump is in any way an advocate for free speech. He is an advocate for freedom to say what he agrees with. This guy literally used frivolous deformation lawsuits to censor people for decades before even becoming President.

I just want to make sure I understand - If there was a 'free and fair' election in Russia you believe Putin would lose?

I don't think a free and fair election is possible at this point. People would fear retaliation for voting against him. He would absolutely lose a free and fair election for the same reason Trump won in 2016 and Obama won in 2008. People want change.
And while we are on the topic you know Putin bombed his own people and blamed it on Checynan rebels right? Putin was supposed to be a transitional leader not dictator for life. That's how he consolidated power and remained in office.

I know its difficult to understand but Putin is still popular with his people - Not by the margins their BS elections yield but he isn't opposed as the West wants people to believe.
I'm not shocked you don't understand this.

Putin is very popular with most people in russia, but Cajun's point largely is right.
That being said my unpopular opinion is that Russia doesn't want a democracy,t hey want an autocrat. They liked the Czars, they liked Stalin.
