Shapiro seems like a reasonable adult which lets him standout, but he’d also land squarely in unremarkable in most candidate pools.

Whether it’s Jon Stewart, Mark Cuban, etc they need someone who can afford to speak freely and make mistakes, not be afraid to go on podcasts.

Apparently, Shapiro has one big nasty skeleton in his closet so now I have my doubts on him.

There is only one Trump and I hope the left tries to remake that with a 'famous' guy.
 
Imagine how popular DOGE is going to be when the real fraud/waste is outed.

This is only the first month - Can't uncover decades of fraud/abuse in a month.

If the Dems actually pivoted back towards the middle and actively supported Shapiro, I would consider voting him, depending on who the opposing R candidate was. But we know they won't do that. They've already opened that door and they can't close it.

It's nice to take these victory laps. Even better to see Trump actually following through with campaign promises unlike 2016. But as someone else said, we are 1 big economic downturn from losing all on Congress and the Presidency. Voters are very fickle and they care about the money in their pocket over all else.

I don't know how good of a POTUS she might have been, but just imagine how much better off the Dems would be if they got behind Tulsi in 2020? Or at the very least, hadn't pushed her to the opposite side of the aisle? She would be by far most wide appealing Dem candidate right now.

I'll add to this list the Seth Rich 'murder'. Lots of bodies buried here and it prompted a lot of criminality afterwards (Russiagate/Impeachments/stoeln 2020 election/J6).

But yes - there is much we don't know about the Las Vegas shooting despite BL proclaiming hte book is written.

Trump has the leverage here. The people seem legit behind the DOGE initiative.

He doesn't have to worry about reelection

Veto every spending bill with no cuts. Let a shutdown happen. Blame it on congress. He's got Elons megaphone and can control the narrative better than he has in the past
