Over 800 probationary positions were let go in my agency today. Shift workers who are and have always been at the office in person staffing 24/7, providing life saving warnings and alerts. Thankfully my office is in good shape but several offices are going to struggle to staff life saving shifts considering we were already significantly understaffed… Meanwhile DOGE is not really saving this country any real money. This is an absolute joke.
