Second ('Third') Trump Presidency Thread

Who says that’s the intention?

The popularization of “trans” cultish ideas is what needs to be rooted out at all levels and destroyed.

An issue apparently more important than women’s health or American jobs to you. Fun.

Zito's point reminds me of Cajun saying that because Wray was appointed by Trump that means that the FBI wasn't targeting him despite overwhelming evidence that they were.

Its literally their job to target criminals. Sorry its shocking that the FBI targets a 34 time felon.

Owning the libs by buying very expensive electric vehicles is genuinely the funniest culture war thing I’ve ever seen the right do.

American made cars

My next car purchase when I turn in my rogue lease will absolutely be a Tesla.

It will be fun to revisit the 2-3 week freakout by the principled crowd when America is rolling in Q1 26.

Majority of Americans like what htey are seeing.

They'll like it even more as the calendar turns when their take home (Inflation adjusted) goes up in 26 leading up the midterms.

Meanwhile - Democrats are still screaming that men and be women. LOVE IT

It's also ignoring that Europe is rebelling, evenif Tesla grows in the USA (it won't, bubba doesn't want a Cyberstuck)

https://www.carscoops.com/2025/03/t...obally-including-germany-australia-and-china/

Australia 70% down, China 50% down (though I expect that to change as the CCP now has a direct way to buy favor in the white house with fElon) Norway down 44% while it's EV market is growing, down 70% in germany despite again EV growth in germany.

Obviously growth in USA is key for Tesla, but pissing off the people most likely to buy an EV was always a weird take. I know Elon Doesn't care, because he's leveraged in ways we have no clue about.

It’s not just “principles” that cause people to be against parts of Trump’s economics

And for the record …are you not principled?

I'm a pragmatist that understands capitalism and free markets are by far the best systems available.

I also understand that at times you need a more nuanced approach as opposed to just screaming about PRINCIPLES.

Unless you need to stop 43 pounds of Fentanyl from crossing the Northern border.

American Made "cars" teslas have been konwn for years to have major issues with fit and finish. Hopefully you're lucky to get one that's put together right.

Egg prices down? That's news to me. Was at Walmart yesterday and all eggs were still over 6 dollars unless you bought bulk.

Sysco eggs are still over 100 per case.

Gas prices are still around 3 a gallon around here.
