I’m guessing he probably roughly did know and they were wrong to do. I think the only thing that can realistically be done is to limit this pardon power going forward to stop such reckless usage of it.

I don’t understand why they don’t just mandate e-verify and crack down on the employment side of things. If you don’t want people to hire illegal immigrants, crack down on the employers first.
